PRODUCT INDICATION

Butorfin® 1% is indicated for pain relief in cases of trauma and acute pain in horses as it is an opioid analgesic. The product provides analgesia for 2 to 4 hours.

PROPERTIES

Butorfin® 1% promotes analgesia, with less respiratory depression and dependence , when compared to other opioids, such as Morphine.

HOW TO USE

To be used in horses, intravenously or intramuscularly.

Administer at a dose of 0.1 mg/kg, which is equivalent to 0.01 mL /kg (1 mL for every 100 kg of body weight). Repeat the dose every 3 to 4 hours for a maximum of two days.
