Pain has always been a limiting agent for animals. Trauma, intense exercise and problems related to old age, are quite common and can cause pain and physical discomfort. DM-Gel® is a product for topical use, safe and effective in combating acute pain. Through its action, it promotes improvement of pain and well-being. Some situations where the DM-Gel® can be used: edema, trauma and joint problems.

HIGHLIGHT COMPONENTS

Dexamethasone: corticosteroid with potent anti-inflammatory activity, through inhibition of phospholipase A2, consequently inhibiting the release of arachidonic acid and its action in the inflammation cascade.
Lidocaine: potent topical anesthetic.
DMSO (Dimethylsulfoxide):
• High penetration power in tissues, especially cutaneous;
• Substance carrying property;
• It has anti-inflammatory effects;
• Its pharmacological actions are described by penetration and membrane transport (vasodilatation), increasing the efficacy of other drugs associated with the treatment,
besides bacteriostasis, analgesia with muscle relaxation, diuresis, inhibition of cholinesterase and potent anti-inflammatory action. (Jacob et al, 2004).

INDICATION

DM-Gel® is indicated as topical anti-inflammatory for dogs, especially recommended for cases of acute joint inflammations.

HOW TO USE

DM-Gel® should be used topically. Apply a layer of the product to the affected area by lightly massaging, leaving a fine film protecting the region.
