INDICATION

DMSO® Injetável is an anti-inflammatory indicated for pain and edema in musculoskeletal and visceral tissues. The anti-inflammatory mechanism results mainly from the removal of free radicals, which promotes protection and reduction of tissue damages, with consequent reduction of the edema. Meanwhile, the analgesic action occurs directly through the chemical block in the fibers of the afferent nerves and central action and indirectly by the anti-inflammatory action exercised by it.

MODE OF USE

Should be applied slowly through the intravenous route, diluted in 10% solution (Saline or Ringer’s Lactate).
• Equines: 1 g/Kg, one twice a day, for 2 to 5 days, i.e., dilute 100 mL of DMSO® Injetável in 900 mL of 0,9% Saline Solution or Ringer’s Lactate for every 100Kg of body weight.
