Enterex® is indicated as an adsorbent for toxins and poisons present in the gastrointestinal tract of cats and dogs, in cases of poisoning, miscellaneous intoxication and to help in the treatment of diarrhea and gastroenteritis.
To be used orally, diluted in water and administered using a syringe or nasogastric tube. Dilute each envelope in 40 mL of water.
In cases of diarrhea and gastroenteritis:
• Dogs and cats: 40 mL up to 20 kg of body weight, every 8 to 12 hours.
In cases of poisoning and intoxication:
• Dogs and cats: 80 mL up to 20 kg of body weight, every 4 to 6 hours until symptoms improve.
1- More effective when administered fastly in acute poisoning, within 30 minutes after ingestion of the poison.
2 - In simple stomach animals, the suspension may be used for gastric lavage.
