Mebendazole is sparingly absorbed by the body, which explains its toxicity. It acts inside the digestive tract, acting by direct contact on the helminths, interfering in the metabolism of the same, inhibiting the uptake of glucose. The recommended dosage of Mebendazole® Vetnil Aves e Suínos allows the almost complete eradication of helminths. Tolerance of the drug is excellent and no gastrointestinal or general side effects are observed.

INDICATION

Birds: In the treatment of infestations by: Ascaridia galli, Heterakis gallinarum, Capillaria spp., Strogyloides avium, Choenotaenia infundibulum, Syngamus trachea. 
Pigs: In the treatment of infestations by: Ascaris suum, Trichuris suis, Strongyloides spp, Oesophagostomum spp., Metastrongylus spp. and Hyostrongylus rubidus.

MODE OF USE

Birds
• Chickens: The contents of a 30g sachet mixed in 50Kg of normal feed, or the contents of a 600g package in 1.000Kg of normal feed. Administer the mixture for 5 (five) consecutive days. 
• Turkeys and Pigeons: The content of a 30g sachet mixed in 50Kg of normal feed. Administer the mixture for 10 (ten) consecutive days. 
• Quail: The contents of two 30 g sachets mixed 50Kg of normal feed. Administer the mixture for 10 (ten) consecutive days. 
Pigs
Mix the contents of a 30 g sachet in 50 kg of feed. Provide for 10 (ten) consecutive days to pigs of any age.
