INDICATION

Pulmo Plus® is a combination of a bronchodilator and a mucolytic, indicated for equines with respiratory pathologies characterized by bronchospasm, presence of secretions and catarrh, like bronchopneumonia, bronchitis (acute, sub-acute and chronic).

MODE OF USE

For equines through oral route.

Basic dose of clenbuterol: 0,8 mcg/Kg of body weight, twice a day; basic dose of N-Acetylcysteine: 5-10 mg/Kg of body weight, twice a day.
This dose can be represented in 5,6 g of Pulmo Plus® Gel for 140 g of body weight, twice a day. Each doser contains 5,6 g of Pulmo Plus® Gel, that is, 5,6 g of the product is released every time the dosing valve is pressed. At the beginning of treatment or return to it, it is recommended to adapt the animal to the product by using half the dose in the first four applications, gradually increasing to the full dose.

The treatment duration depends on the factors related to the pathology. In acute and sub-acute cases, it is recommended to use for 14 days. In chronic cases, treatment can be extended to 4 weeks. The doses can be increased or decreased according to the veterinary doctor’s instruction.
