Mioguard® JCR
Aids in reducing muscle fatigue and increasing performance, with dimethylglycine.

Mioguard® JCR is a supplement indicated for horses as a complement to the aerobic pathway of cellular respiration, contributing to muscle recovery, fatigue reduction, and increased performance*.

PROPERTIES

Mioguard® JCR is ideal for horses that need support for muscle recovery and fatigue reduction, resulting in improved performance. Its composition includes dimethylglycine, a byproduct of glycine metabolism and a precursor to creatine, which provides less lactic acid buildup and greater physical endurance. It also contains vitamin B1, a cofactor of enzymes involved in ATP production, and citric acid, a key intermediate in ATP production that participates directly in the Krebs cycle. Additionally, it contains maltodextrin, an alternative source of carbohydrates, arginine, an amino acid precursor to nitric oxide, and sodium citrate.

HOW TO USE

Mioguard® JCR should be administered orally.

  • Adult horses: Administer 20 to 30 ml of the product directly into the mouth or mixed with feed. Use daily.

This product is considered non-doping according to the FEI (International Equestrian Federation) list. However, always consult the specific regulations of the event.

*Based on the 2,550 mg dose of dimethylglycine (DMG) in the study by Oliveira et al., 2015¹ - which would be approximately equivalent to 0.066 mL of Mioguard® JCR per kg of horse, considering the amount of DMG at the guaranteed levels and the product density.
